    You're correct, and one call to Zeiss had the extended eyecups in my mailbox in just two days, free of charge. However, even the extended eyecups still weren't enough for me. I still got kidney beans when I really drew the binoculars in, and that was with 10x42's. It would have been even...

    The Conquest HD's actually have too much eye relief for the eyecups, if a person doesn't wear glasses. I'd go with the Conquests. I've owned both pairs the OP mentions and the Conquests will give you a larger field of view. One of the reasons I returned my Trinovid HD's was the "tube" effect...
