    Budget Canon lens

    As previously stated, the 7D + 400/5.6 would be a great combo for you, No image stabilisation would be something to consider and a good technique would be required. Note: an extender would not be a good idea as you would lose autofocus with the Canon 7D + 400/f5.6 + 1.4 extender
