    Just re checked the data sheet for the EL and these coatings are listed SWAROTOP, SWARODUR, SWAROCLEAN, SWAROBRIGHT so this is the same as the pre NL.

    Swarovski appears to have tweaked the spec of the EL (The Legend) now not called the universal viewer. Maybe EL in the Field Pro format was too close to the new NL I’m glad I got my pair of 8.5 x42 Field Pro 5 months ago as I do like the close focus distance it has.

    I see that Swarovski has altered the specification of the EL(The Legend no longer the fold pro) in that that close focusing distance is now 3.3m compared the 2.0m of NL.     I’m not sure if this a mistake on the Swarovski EL web page but the 8.5x ELs close focusing distance has been change from 1.5m to 3.3m? It could be just bad editing as the text still says 1.5 m.

    Looking at the specifications with regards to close focusing distance this has increased over the EL from 1.5m to 2.0m 8.5xEL compared to 8X NL and to 2m in the 10x.     They look very interesting but I will be staying with my 5 month old 8.5x42 EL Field Pro as i love the 8.5 magnification and the 1.5m close focusing. The field of view also works for me too.
