My source said the SLC which includes the 56 versions... But he wasn't specific... It might mean the 56 remains and the 42 is done away with... I agree. They would be shooting themselves in the foot... Just passing on what I heard... Cheers Tim -

Hi Lee.. The information comes from a trusted source who sells these binoculars for a living. Yes.. Its a shock about the SLC. The 8 10 and 15x 56 would be a significant loss. According to the source future FP's will have a reduced close focus so not to compete with the NL. And before I get... -

Just heard that the EL's are going to be continued to be produced but they will replace the SLC as a mid range binocular.. Plus the close focus of the Field Pro's is goin to be reduced so it doesn't compete with the NL's. Can anybody else confirm this... Cheers Tim -

Just to answer this question specifically, yes it would be. The Absam ring is produced by a field flattener lens (Swarovision) sharpening the edge of the field, which most binos don't do. That would surely be an extra challenge with this larger FOV, but perhaps Swaro have also found a better and... -

I can't wait to get my hands on a pair of 10x42's. However, to buy them outright I'll have to sell both my current 10x42 SV's and my 8x32 SV's... I think a binocular over 2.5 K is a bit much... I mean, that's more than I paid for my car ���� Cheers Tim -

Do we know if it's a 42 or 32 model there introducing..? I would imagine it's the 42, with a new Body design, Lighter, more centrally located larger focus wheel. Wider fov, greater light transmission... Cheers Tim -
