Day One for digiscoping (1 Viewer)

Today I attached the DCA adapter to the Swaro 80mm HD, set the zoom to 20x and attached the Nikon D200 w/ a 50mm lens open to 1.8 and set at infinity and took pictures of birds at the feeder. It was afternoon and getting darker but I did get some keepers. Used ISO 400. This works but is a little back-end heavy!

You're on your way. Welcome to the rewarding, frustrating world of Digiscoping.
With birds at feeders you're going to need fast shutter speeds to freeze action. At least 1/500th second and 1/1000th or more would be preferable. Go for high iso to start and don't worry too much about the noise until you get comfortable with the sharpness of your shots.
