Hi everyone. Just thought I'd introduce myself on here. I'm Steve, 29 from Birmingham. I love taking photographs, some of which are on my wmtlynx account on flickr, although I am beginning to realise I need to spend a four-figure sum on better equipment to get those all-important close-ups of birds. In the mean time I'll do what I can with my Panasonic FZ28 (fantastic camera but forget snapping away at flying birds - the AF is too slow). I've also started filming short clips of birds with a camcorder, which gives me satisfactory results as it's easy enough to get recordings of our feathered friends that will not sit still for a photograph!

Hello there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:

We're glad you found us and please join in wherever you like.

Hi Steve and a warm welcome from me too

I'm sure you will enjoy it here, and I'll look forward to seeing some of your pictures in the Gallery too
