have seen them 5 times so far, first time over easter in manchester, then quite a few times in norfolk over the weekend

Saw my first Swifts of the year yesterday in Redhill. 5 of them moving through at about 5.30 in the afternoon. Don't know if they came in on a weather front or caught a plane to Gatwick....either way, a wonderful sight.

Had my first on 1st May and then none until lunchtime yesterday *6th May* when I had three screaming across Alnwick Market Place :t:

Still no sign of House Martins though! :smoke: They seem to be getting more scarce up here with each passing year :-C

I visited Stodmarsh yesterday expecting a 'skyful' but not a single one, nor any Hirundines either! Hopefully the weather front will bring some to this bit of East Kent...

Saw a couple over Hoylake today while I was sat outside listening to a Blackbird singing on a TV aerial. Happy moments.
