Hiking in Golden Canyon outside Phoenix, AZ this morning. Found this bird foraging above the water. I am thinking some kind of wren but would love to get a second opinion.

Brown Creeper doesnt have the contrasting white breast with the rufous brown flanks and belly, has a shorter bill and would show an obvious supercillium.

Thanks so much! after re-checking my books, canyon wren fits more what i have seen
