Monteverde bird, Costa Rica (1 Viewer)

This bird was seen at Santa Elena, Monteverde in February of this year. I had recorded it as a Chlorospingus, but now am doubting my self. The face seems to be not dark enough. Any thoughts?
The photo was taken with flash, so it is possible the colors are not true.

Just of note the Three-striped Warbler has been split as of last year (at least the N American populations, S American groups are all still considered one unit). The bird in the photo is now known as Costa Rican Warbler, B melanotis.
