It's a Phasmid (Phasmatodea, stick and leaf insects), probably from family Phylliidae. Hopefully, this should help narrowing down your search.

Should belong in genus Phyllium (eventually Nanophyllium): see here.

I think it is Phyllium bioculatum. If anyone else can confirm this or tell me I'm wrong, I'd be grateful.

P. b. is the usual name given to most leaf insects - whether it is genuinely the most frequently observed species, or merely a default guess I'm not sure - have a look at the info on the Phasmid Study Group website. Kelvin
