Among the Cisticolas, I wonder if any of the 2 is Carruthers's or Trilling.

Not sure again about the Weavers.

Many thanks for your input!

Thanks Andy, that was my first thought on the weaver too, but then I though it could also be a Northern brown-throated weaver.

I'll wait for possible feedback on the other 4.

Cheers!

We only saw that at Mabamba, not sure if they're on the list for the gardens and anyway, that has a pale eye.

The weaver is surely Village Weaver Ploceus cucullatus, a common species here; Carruther's and Trilling Cisticola don't occur at this site so Winding is the general default option

Same bird, different name (aka Spot-backed) as given in Stevenson and Fanshawe, the default fieldguide for the region.

I always try and use the names given in the most widely used fieldguide for any region just to try and avoid confusion, failed here it seems.

There are four reports of Carruther's, two each of Rattling and Whistling and one each of Trilling and Tabora on ebird.

Obviously can't speak to the credibility of the finders

I would agree for Winding for the Cisticolas, and Village (Black-headed for photo 3).

As far as I can see, no-one has commented on photos 4 & 5. For me the lemony colour and other features suggest Little Weaver. I'm happy to be contradicted, but without any other suggestions, I'll just put this out here.
