I've been keeping a close eye on the CJ webcams this Easter, and it has been a busy weekend...
Easter Sunday saw the arrival of the second Stork egg, the fourth Peregrine egg and, with the Tawny eggs due to start hatching any day, one egg was seen rolling in the nest on it's own - a good sign that we may not have long to wait until we meet the first of the Tawny chicks.
There is more activity in the Kingfisher nest with both the male and female spotted in the nest burrow together for the first time, and both pairs of Little Owl's are spending much more time in the nests. The Barn Owl has also started bringing some twigs into her nest, so hopefully there will be even more eggs to come this season.
If you haven't checked out the webcams yet you can view them all live, 24/7 throughout the breeding season at www.birdfood.co.uk/webcams.
