Hi all,

I'm new to the forum, just thought I'd say hi!

I live in West London near Wormwood Scrubs park where there are lots of nice birds. Heading to the London Wetlands center this weekend for the first time.

I fell in love with birding while living in Botswana, but I'm just getting to grips with all of our local species here in the UK.

All the best,

Will :t:

Hi Will and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

I used to pass the entrance to Wormwood Scrubs whenever we went up town along the A40 (lived in Greenford then), but didn't know there was a park behind it!

Welcome to BirdForum! I am sure you will find lots to interest you here, and I hope you enjoy your visits.

Hi Will, just wanted to add one more welcome to the forum. Enjoy your time here.

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone! I look forward to getting involved

The scrub land behind the prison is really great, lots of birds to find especially on the summer. Unfortunately it’s being threatened by the construction of a new train station :(

Cheers!
Will
