Hi I keep seeing on Rare Bird Report people saying they have seen White Wagtail are they on about Pied Wagtails or is it a completely different species? any info or ID info would help.

Thanks for any help, Steve

White wagtail and Pied Wagtail are two different races of the same species. Pied is resident in the UK, White is the continental European race. They are passing through the UK now, mostly on the way to Iceland
