Leica HD (1 Viewer)

As far as I am aware, Leica announced the HD Plus version on Sep. 15, 2014, and I think I purchased the first of my HD Plus models (8x42) in December 2014, so it was on the market by then. I don't know when exactly production was switched.

Thanks Canip for the info, I was just curious when they actually stopped production on the HD, 2014 is not that long ago. I Just recently purchased a 8X42 HD and very pleased with the size and optics for a 8X42. It was brand new in Box with a full Leica Warranty. There are some good deals on some slightly older models. I can't believe that it is rated 6th on Allbinos, should have been higher IMHO.

I agree - the 8x42 HD is a very very nice bino, mechanically and optically, and I am sure you enjoy it a lot!
