Another Sandpiper, USA (1 Viewer)

The below photograph was taken last week near Crystal River, Florida.

This appears to be a Sandpiper in Nonbreeding plumage. It was smaller than a Sanderling. My choices are Western, Semipalmated or Least. I am favoring Least.

Any opinions???

Stuart is spot-on with Least Sandpiper. The leg color is by-far the best field-mark, but the medium-in-length, slightly down-curved bill is also a good clue.

Excellent photo!

You guys are right. I should have noticed the yellow legs as it differentiates this Sandpiper from the others I was considering. As I am a photgrapher and not a bird watcher, IDs are always my trouble spot. I do try to get good photographs for IDs.
