Slightly off topic maybe! Anyone any idea what the medallion Bill Oddie wears on the TV is. Every time I see it it I wonder where I could get one. Thanks in advance to anyone who may know- Alan

Hi Alan, I notice this is your first post,so welcome to BirdForum from the Moderators and Staff.
Can't answer your query myself, but a few people on here seem to know all about B.O and hopefully they'll give you an answer.

Hi Alan. Welcome to Birdforum. I can't help with the medallion but I bet you get an answer . Enjoy yourself here. John.

Obviously.......
It's an 'ecky thump' bronze medallion.
He came third in the black pudding bashing event at the Cricklewood Olympics...
Bill was badly beaten by Garden and Brooke-Taylor...

Honest Dave.

Think it's his favourite bird , the barn swallow.Check out your local craft fairs, there are often jewellers who can make just about anything usually in silver.

Yes it is a Swallow, I have just looked at our "Birding with Bill Oddie" book and it can be seen on it.

As for where you can get them I can't help.

Thanks everyone, I will keep checking to see if anyone knows where they are obtainable. I suppose I could always try W.E. Oddie c/o the BBC!!!!!
