Pespex on nest box.. (1 Viewer)

Hi all, I'm building a new box for next year and I thought if I put a perspex top on the box for more light for my camera. In previous years I have put a perspex window on the top of the box for light and it seemed to be ok...birds nested and fledged 3 chicks. What I wonder is if I used a piece of perspex to make the whole top off the box would it be too much.
