Just back from our regular walk around the pond - seen a few new birds lately but not had much luck getting decent images so far - one in particular has me intrigued blue head olive green body but only a blurred imageso far -- too bad to show- -BUT I did get this one and although taken in poor light I hope there is enough detail to confirm its ID.

I saw the New Holland Honeyeater yesterday for the first time this season also so it looks like the honeyeaters are moving in for the late blooming wattle blossom - it has been out in bloom for weeks lower down but only just started blooming here
I also got another couple of shots of the Bassian Thrush this week - 1/15th second , 500mm lens at 800ISO ! BUT I can see them at least :)
I am 90% sure this is a Crescent Honeyeater - in which case my first since arriving here - is it?
