full sized this time...but still very small, these are about 100mm long, all carved out of lime...painted with acrylic paints...

Wow, incredible carving! I am always amazed how carvers like yourself can place the birds in such a way as to 'hide' how they are attached to the scene, if that makes any sense! Beautiful.

Interestingly enough, a Rufous was reported not TOO far from me today, which is way out of its range. Would love to see one in the wild, never have.
