Thank you for accepting me to your group. I live in Newfoundland and have a well established feeder at my home and, since retiring about 3 years ago, have developed an interest in birds, nature, and photography. In recent months, we have had regular birds visit the feeders daily but have also had some new birds, rare to our area (including a male dickcissel). I have had challenges in identifying some birds and am impressed by the words of someone I know recommend this site for its friendly members and wisdom in helping to identify some birds. Also, I hope to spend some time looking back to see some pics of birds that have been posted to this site if I can. I hope to be more involved as time passes but just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself (Sandra) and to thank you for accepting me to your group. Take care !
