zing photographs makes me want to cry. Unfortunately due to ill health I am no longer able to visit the reserve but will always remember these.
Tomorrow we will continue the opening up of the scrub covered shoreline on the southern section of the Moors pool at Amy's marsh.
Thanks for that John much appreciated. I look at the forum everyday and would like to thank you and the team for all the good work that you do.
I will always remember the good times and many happy hours visiting the reserve.
Bitterns on the Moors including from the old North Moors hide in the channel. The long staying Osprey with Togs nearly coming to blows chasing it. The Wilson's Phalarope and the Dark Bellied Brent Geese which we found at the Flashes with no one else in the hide - no reporting facility then I'm afraid for us. It soon got round though when someone else arrived. Many interesting chats and information with the legendary Arthur J. and watching Des's hair grow.
Good luck to everyone and many happy hours birding a great reserve.
Will be very interested to see what counts of Common and Jack Snipe you record.
