the lack of white on the sides and more orange in the neck ( grayer head)put it more clapper. Then amount of Alternifora spartina in the picture lends to more salty habitat. The father away from freshwater should be clapper, but with that said we captured less than 5% hybrids by appearance and less than 2% shared genetic overlap. There some work on the hybrids in the upper Tx coast in the brackish zone still being done to see if storm reduced populations hybridize more readily.
