Yes I do agree with Sanderling, I can,t remember thou another wadeing through the water moment such as this One In fact any wadeing through the water, only always on the shoreline and trying to keep out of the riseing Tide An unusual picture for me.

Yes ... That is the exact reason I posted this image. I have others from the same place behaving in the same way. I have sanderling images from the UK and Ireland but always in winter plumage and always running in and out of the tide on the beach. These in Portugal were wading slowly as well. .... strange.
