Athlon Cronus? (1 Viewer)

Just wondering if anyone has tried out this bino, and what would it compare to, optically. Thanks, and happy new year to all.

Well.........Athlon has announced a new Cronus 10x50 HD bino/rangefinder all in one unit, and I like the looks and specs of it, as well as their unconditional lifetime warranty on everything including electronics. I'm wondering how the Cronus line fairs optically, as it sounds like it could potentially be a very nice offering.

I'll check it out in a few weeks at SHOT Show and report back. The specs are nice. The fact that it is not the same 10x42 put out by Nikon and Vortex (which probably come from the same mfg) is a good thing.
Athlon has been doing a nice job of producing some quality affordable optics.

Saw a pair at Cabelas last week. My mom always said "if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all". I have nothing to say about the Cronus. :eek!:

No experience with the Cronus. The Athlon Ares I had left a bad taste in my mouth though. I personally probably won't go down the Athlon road again.
