New Things with Wings (1 Viewer)

Some new stuff. I'm not sure why I always do animals in watercolour. Does anybody have an idea? O;-)

I'm posting my neighbour's cat Pünktchen (Spotty) because she's doing what we all love to do -> birding.

Greetings!!! O:)

Smart work. Just looking back at the robin painting and marvelling at the depth of colour and tone you've achieved here. It's a really wonderful little piece - love it.

Hello, Ulrike. I, too, love doing wildlife in watercolors. It just seems to fit, especially for the more colorful lifeforms: birds. flowers, butterflies. If I did more mammals, perhaps I'd prefer acrylics or oils because for the darks and earth tones. Also, for me, the spontanaeity of watercolor is unsurpassed. Keep up the wonderful work. Regards. tbbilbo.

Really nice work Gaby. I'm not much of a cat person but Pünktchen is an endearing little thing isn't he!
