Sandwell Valley (5 Viewers)

Forge Mill Caspian Gull, Common Gull, Oystercatcher x3, Shelduck (36 Days) , Grey Wagtail, Lapwing c32, Snipe c27, Goosander x12, Pochard c19 and Wigeon x16

Managed exactly 50 species around Forge Mill and the maize field this morning, although I missed the Common Gull. Lovely morning for a walk.

Thanks to the gents in the hide for their advice.

Just after it opened, for 30 mins or so? Richard Baker was in there, must have left shortly after me as I popped back to the maize field for another look before I went home, and he turned up in his car a few minutes after I'd arrived.
