I am going to the Brecon Beacons for a week in April - does anyone know the best places o visit and what might be around at that time of year? Thanks

Hi Dawny

Have a word with the guys in the Gwent thread - it's sort of in their area and I'm sure they'll be pleased to help.

There's lots of great places to visit there.

Thanks Delia, I haven't found my way around the site yet so wasn't sure where best to post my question.

That's OK.... you've posted in the right place - but if you chat to Luke, Mike et al in the Gwent thread they're bound to know places. The only place I can think of at the moment is Llangorse Lake near Brecon.

But I suppose it depends just where you're staying.

I'm an occasional visitor to Abergavenny, along the road a bit.
