Hi Colleen, sorry i am late replying. Had to go to London for a few days.
I have been keeping up with your thread. You are asking us questions but your powers of observation are answering them all for you. Your evident skills are shining through and we are enjoying the trip with you.
Welcome to the changing shapes of birds because of how the feathers lay, catch the light and won't sit still for you.

thank you Arthur, there is so much to know, and my skills are so far behind my vision of what I want to do, I get a little overwhelmed by it all. And I know the birds won't always be there to observe, so I feel the passing of time very much.

Very nice mate, they make some lovely shapes don't they.

I've not seen any young 'uns getting fed this year they all seem to have leapt straight to flying. There's another brood in the car park toilets thought so maybe I'll get lucky with that lot.

As long as you don't wear that long Mac. you bring to Norfolk for the summer weather Mike.
Iv'e been looking at the shapes of them feeding on the wing, just seems the parent bird trying to avoid a kamikazi aproach by the youngster begging.

you're going to enjoy that brickwork! This one already reminds me of barbecues in the summer at Seb's brother's house - looks just like this scene.
