Sand Martin Pakistan? (1 Viewer)

Himalaya

Well-known member
Taken around Quetta a few days ago. It has a whitish throat, very defined breast band - too defined for a Pale Martin Riparia Diluta. I remember posting a similar photo a year or so ago with a slightly stronger breast band than typical Pale Martins but that was thought to be a more Eastern variant of Pale Martins.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Relatively bold band across upper breast supports Sand Martin as opposed the other species of Martins that are possible in the Quetta area I think.
