Finch/Bunting ID (1 Viewer)

Afternoon all, looking for help identifying this finch or bunting in my garden today. He/she was part of a flock of six feeding on birch seeds. Could only get some photos of one between the branches and was fighting with the low sun to get a proper look. Female Linnet or Twite maybe?

Linnets have all grey bills and they don’t have heavy side and flank streaking as the subject bird has.

Bill doesn't look yellow enough to me, I reckon just the bright backlighting shining through the bill is making it look brighter than usual.

Do Twite ever perch in trees? Don't think I've ever seen one doing so, only time I've seen them perch above ground is on wires.

Can’t reconcile your “example bird” with the subject whatsoever, pencil streaking v heavy streaking, grey bill v yellow, buff yellow wash to the crown (1/2nd images), contrasting striations to the mantle etc.etc. and as for bill shape difference, don’t recall seeing that emphasised as a feature for separation...perhaps it was imaginary?
