Chiffchaffs (1 Viewer)

I was out on my local patch yesterday and thought I heard a Chiffchaff but it was far away and very faint, so I decided that I imagined it. This morning I met a local birdwatching postman who has heard them and his friend has seen one. I went on to a local reserve and there were several Chiffchaffs singing, so I probably wasn't imagining things yesterday.

Glad that the first of the migrant birds have made it home. Blow the wind southerly!

I heard my first one of the year on Thursday, took me a few moments to work out what it was! 3:) Really good to hear them again. :t:

There was a Chiffchaff singing it's head of in a tree on the side of the car park at the car boot, early yesterday morning, Pat.
