Sorry, not a great picture. This hawk? has a much different flight pattern than the Redtails I see around here.

Very erratic and fast.

Thoughts?

Awesome. Thanks. Must be a young one. Belly looks a little brighter than the only other picture I have of a kite. Now that you mention kite, it does have the same erratic flight that I remember.
