Little Egret 3, Little Grebe 10, Green Sandpiper 3 possibly 4, Snipe 3, Black-tailed Godwit, Shoveler 30+, Teal 35, Wigeon 7, Gadwall 12, Pochard 3, Mistle Thrush.

c100 Lapwing, 12 Curlew, 4 Snipe, Black-tailed Godwit over, 8 Teal, 91 BH Gull, Grey Wagtail.
 
Many thanks to the Tuesday crew today .after a brief meeting discussing the forthcoming work schedule , we then moved over to the Flashes. There were brush cut the path and boardwalk . Overhanging scrub, willows and bramble were pruned. The broken stock fencing rails were repaired and refitted.

Reminder that the Work Party season will begin at the FLASHES on Tuesday 9th OCTOBER.
Please meet at Flashes steps at beginning of reserve 9am.

I wonder if we should be taking the terrapin into captivity will find out from.the Trust???

No sign of the Black-tailed Godwit. c50 Lapwing, 5 Snipe, Green Sand, 30 Shoveler, 28 Teal, 13 Gadwall, 5 Wigeon, 2 Pochard, 20 House Martin, Sedge Warbler, Kingfisher, Water Rail.

Also saw a Coal Tit, which was calling in the spindle adjacent to the ramp approaching the North Moors hide. Spotted Flycatcher and Garden Warbler have been reported here recently so it is well worth a few minutes look before entering or on leaving the hide.:t:
