It all started with a housewarming gift... (1 Viewer)

Approximately six years ago friend gave me a very pretty hummingbird feeder as a housewarming gift.

Fast forward to today and there are no fewer than a dozen assorted nectar, thistle, and seed feeders hanging in both the front and back yards of our home.

I truly believe decorative hummingbird feeders are the gateway drug to backyard birding addiction.

Not that I'm complaining at all. I love it!
Still a newbie but really excited to learn more as I navigate this forum.

Hello from Northern California, btw!

It doesn't take long to become a bird nerd especially when there are hummers around ;)

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:

Hi kaysirota and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

How lucky you are to have hummers visiting you.... I can only dream of seeing them LOL.

Hi and welcome to the forum. It is amazing how one feeder can become many without us even realizing what we are doing.

Welcome to BirdForum! I am sure you will find lots to interest you here, and I hope you enjoy your visits.
