Despite not getting out birding at all this weekend (taking the children to parties and decorating are to be blamed), I managed to glance out into the garden and see two Goldcrests in a bush right beside the window. Very nice.

Four male Black Grouse at 3pm was a nice surprise... ...saves having to get up too early!

Also had a female Hen Harrier over the car.
