A pair of Ouzels, four Cresties and six Slavonian Grebes (at Loch Ruthven), the latter in full breeding plummage, rather than the drab winter outfits of earlier this year.

3rd April 2007 (Scotland Day 4 - The Moray Coast)

137. Velvet Scoter Burghead Bay

Also at Burghead Bay, we picked up a further four Slavonian Grebes, loads of Long-tailed Ducks, a few Red-throated Divers and a Great Northern Diver. Popped into Roseisle Forest on the way back to the cottage, which produced a further two Crested Tits.
