Saturday. 19 May Albufereta: Stone curlew, Eleonora's falcons, Marsh harrier, Boote eagle, Kentish plover, BW stilts, Common tern, several Purple and Grey herons, Little and Cattle egrets, Shelduck, Coot, Mallard, dozens of Zitting cisticolas, Cetti's, several Corn buntings, Stonechat, Linnet, Serin, and many Pyramidal orchids (Anacamptis pyramidalis) around the pine wood.
Sunday 20 May morning, Son Real: Balearic and Sardinian warblers, Turtle dove (3), Eleonora's falcons (5), Woodchat shrike (4, badius ssp), Hoppoe, Nightingales everywhere, Red legged partridge, several Corn buntings, Stonechats, Serins, Linnets and Balearic/Tyrrhenian Spotted flycatchers, as well as the usual Goldfinches, Greenfinches...
Also 9!! Herman's tortoises (Testudo hermanii) and plenty of Pyramidal orchids in flower everywhere; all other orchid species are gone.
Afternoon at son Bosc: 10 Bee-eaters, 3 Eleonora's, Tawny pipit, Stonechat, Hoppoe, Stone Curlew... and at the depuradora 2 Gull billed terns, 2 BH gulls sitting on one of the rafts, near breeding BW stilts and Common terns, Shelduck with chicks, Stone curlew and several Nightingales, Marsh harriers, Cetti's, Zitting cisticola...
