Upton Warren (7 Viewers)

Seems pretty un-important with the loss of SY but just a reminder that the Moors will be busy tomorrow at the Moors. Steve Poole will be digging out a new section of channel at the east side of the North Moors. We will be in Amy's Marsh repairing fencing and treating saplings around the shorelines . đź‘Ť

Raise a toast to Sy at tomorrow's work party and we will do the same on the 28th B :)

North Moors

The dry section of the eastern 'moat' was dug out by Steve at Lifestyles. This will now create a safer reed bed for breeding birds.

Ok this may sound wrong but true as I was accused of twitching a Mandarin duck today :eek!: .He did looked settled in for the evening as I left, as did the Pintail at 16.30. Once again many thanks to the two gents who helped me big time, very kind of them to go out of their way.

Today's Mandarin and Pintail promotes the year list to 93. Still yet to record Goldeneye for the year (or Goosander and Wigeon for the month).

What are your thoughts on the total number of Oystercatcher and Shelduck on the reserve today Des? 4 and 10 or less?

Worryingly today's count of 13 Common Snipe is the best of the year ... :eek!::-C
