Sandwell Valley (5 Viewers)

Nice one with the Weasel, just out of interest. Where did you have it? I had one in the RSPB meadow near the carved viewing screen a week or so ago.

I was sitting on the seat on the river path (looking towards the Hide), when it popped out of left corner of brambles, slowly raised camera, but it shot off when cyclists went past.

Also saw one a few years ago on the path to the Marsh Screen.

Great Black Backed Gull to 3rd year bird dropped in briefly and departed over the new workings very unseasonal

Managed another 2 hour trip to Forge Mill today. Two birders reported seeing a Great White Egret around mid-day on Forge Mill. As usual dipped again!, there were however a couple of Little Egrets + the usual including a Pochard on the island.

Year list UP8-P to 57 latest Green Woodpecker.

Dave, out of curiousity, what is the max. Nr of Mute Swans recorded on Forge Mill, Counted 29 last week.
