Now if you don't want to delete all cookies, you can go to tools > internet options > settings > view files. That way you can hand pick which cookies you want to keep and which you want to trash.

It is always easier to do this if you delete all your temporary files before you do this. This way only cookies will show when you click on "view files"

Can you tell me what you mean by "delete temporary files" please. Thanks
 
Sure, go to tools > internet options > then you will see "delete temporary files" when you click on delete, there will an additional tick box in that little window as well and I cannot recall what exactly that says as I am in the office now running on xp professional. I can clarify that later this evening when I get home. Anyhow, you want to put a check in that little tick box as well.

If you haven't ever done that then it may take a bit to clear out.
