has anyone tried to use the EX 25 tube + the 1.4 teleconvertor + ED 50 mm macro lens in this sequence, with the E 520.
i have tried but the lens would not even MF.

Try reversing the sequence (re: TC and tube)

Something like this:
Camera - Teleconverter - Extension tube - lens

There is a problem with this set up For some reason olympus software will not allow more than 2 connections so it will not recognise this set up

thanks all, i think i tried reversing it but not sure, i though it might be because the setting is to long for macro shot. but still doesn't make sense why the MF doesn't work.

i have tried something eles and it worked somehow, i made a focus with ED 70-300 mm set on MF, then mounted the tele converter 1.4 and the tele converter 20, and it gave me good shot, a bit out of focus but not from the setting it is my eye sight the problem. but it worked nice provided the subject is still, i made this trial with a perching shrike.
