2 Shelduck and 2 Little Egret at the Moors Pool this morning as per Carl J.

2 Shelduck still late afternoon at the Moors Pool as per Tim.

A couple of Bewick's Swan records in the county in the last few days, including three which flew north from Grimley late afternoon today. Well worth giving any swans on the reserve a thorough grilling.

Tuesday Work Party 3rd December FLASHES

Please note we are working at the FLASHES this TUESDAY 3rd DECEMBER.
The work will be based around the Hen Brook hide and along the Hen Brook Triangle .
We are building screens around the hide and opposite in the Archery field where the diggers accessed the Hen pool and knocked down the cover that shelters the pool from the archery field.
We will also be clearing debris from the hen brook and sweeping off leaves from the boardwalk. Also cutting back overhanging scrub along the track.
Please meet at the Sailing pool steps down to the Flashes at 8.45 .
Julie is baking cakesB :) john
