Hi guys,

I'm planning to go to Panama or Costa Rica on early December. Is there any reliable place for Harpy?

Thanks and best regards,

The company "Canopy Tower" usually have a nest staked out in Darien. They are not cheap though.

Other independent guides such as Beny Wilson or Euclides Campo could probably set you up on a more modest budget. Both are great guys and great guides, btw.

Just came back from Darien with Pizarro..

Incredible national park, lot of birds (harpy, crested -two-, blue and black tipped cotinga, dusky backed jacamar, sapayoa, white hawk, manakins...) But specially a paradise for frogs and herps!
