Strange wagtail in Kuwait (1 Viewer)

This image was taken by Abdullah Al Kaabi recently in Kuwait, who can't work out which species it is and who is amazed at what it's eating. At first glance, it could be a Grey Wagtail.

o:)o:)o:) as a juv had a grey colour!

Thanks, Lou. The photographer and all his fellow birders hadn't actually seen a wagtail quite like this one in Kuwait and so perhaps it's a vagrant of a distant subspecies. Have you any idea which subspecies it might have been?

You're right, illusion on my part.
Yep, wagtails - and I get the impression especially Yellow Wagtails - are almost 'double-jointed' in their legs, and come up with often impossible-looking poses in photos :t:

Maybe something to do with increased agility for dashing after insect prey.
