Tri Colored Heron ?? Lake Conroe Texas (1 Viewer)

Thought this might be a juvenile Great Blue Heron because it is so much smaller than an Adult. Doing a little research this looks to be a Tri-Colored Heron.

Please confirm and is it a juvenile or are they roughly half the size of a regular Great Blue Heron?

Thanks,

Chuck

I also have a small white one that I thought was a Snowy, but might be a juvie Great Blue.

Did you mean Little Blue? Juvenile Great Blue Herons (blue form) are not white and, as D Halas said, juvenile herons are the same size as the adults, so it would be a large heron if it were a Great Blue.
