Hi folks,

I am spending a week in May in Cornwall and am wondering what the birding highlights might be then.
I’ll be staying near Tintagel.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks

Sorry you didnt get any replies but I'm interested to know how you got on - I'm staying near Tintagel myself from Sunday onwards for a week.

So Cornwall has lots of birdwatching so any sea watching is good near the coast. Being Tintagel and North Coast I would suggest here ...

Maer Lake | Cornwall Wildlife Trust - Bude
RAF Davidstow Moor - Wikipedia - Davidstow (Lots of good birds can be found here but certain rules apply regarding driving on the airfield)
Camel Estuary AONB section - Slightly further down is the Camel Estuary which can start from Bodmin and finishes in Padstow. It can also be viewed from Wadebridge.

Good Luck !
