Seen a couple of days ago near English South West coast. Appologies for poor pictures but anyone have any suggestions as to what it could be?

Hi Chris and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

That looks like a juvenile Blackbird, now moulting into his adult plumage. The head is the last to change. I've a few looking just like that at the moment.
