Sea Bird, Firth of Forth 23 October 2007 (1 Viewer)

I took s pic of this bird at lunch time today and I'm not sure what it is, certainly not a bird I have seen before and I don't have a guide handy at the moment.

I'm sure its nothing special but is new to me, so if anyone can give me an ID I would be really grateful.
