I am going to Indonesia and have few days birding around Kuala Lumpur.

Would the book "Birds of Indonesian Archipelago" cover birds of Peninsular Malaysia? Which species exist on Peninsular Malaysia but not in Indonesia. Especially which birds in peninsular Malaysia have NOT a sibling species in Greater Sunda islands?

Are there any English-speaking useful Android apps to bird identification in Malaysia or Indonesia?

I would prefer traveling light, and have a basic knowledge of South Asian birds. So my idea was to take only 'The Birds of Indonesian Archipelago' and maybe learn few missing species.
